AGARTALA, Dec 26 (TIWN): Tripura Government Group-D Employees Association on Saturday organized a two days long Central Committee Conference at Sishubihar English Medium School.
During the conference it has been mentioned that the conference has been staged to raise protest against the rising inequality with the Muslim community.
Besides, the members of the association also claimed that after the BJP Government came in to rule, people observe riot regularly and terrorism is increasing. Around 600 and above riots has been observed under the rule of the BJP Government, said the members of the association.
However, the members have demanded to celebrate the Birth anniversary of Madan Mohan Malaviya on December 25. He was an Indian educationist and politician notable for his role in the Indian independence movement and as the four time president of Indian National Congress.
Malaviya is most remembered as the founder of Banaras Hindu University (BHU) at Varanasi in 1916, which was created under the B.H.U. Act, 1915.
Besides, the members have discussed about the crime against women, regarding the peace and prosperity in the state and also discussed about on many other topics.
During the programme, Information and Cultural Affairs Minister Bhanu Lal Saha and other were present at the programme.
