AGARTALA, Dec 25 (TIWN): Alongwith the other political parties, Bharatiya Janta Party of Tripura gears up for the upcoming village committee election.

Talking to TIWN correspondents, State President of Bharatiya Janta Party Sudhindra Dasgupta on Thursday said that the party is going on with the preparation for the upcoming Village Committee election.

Besides, all the members of the District are gearing up with the preparation procedure and in the coming days the members will come up with full-fledge to contest the election, added.

Talking about the preparation, State BJP President said that the observers will discuss about the election with President of the Sadar District and the Mandal Committee to preside over it.

It is to be mentioned here that all the Political parties in the district are gearing up for the Village Committee election, as efforts are now under way to tune their organisational machinery to the election mode.

However, BJP somehow manages to grab four seats in the recently held Municipal Election. Therefore, the party is trying to grab more seats in the municipal election.

As a part of the election preparation, BJP State President recently visited the area of Korbook to discuss about the preparation and the initiatives to be taken for the upcoming election.

However, it has been mentioned that in the coming days the preparation will be in full-fledged manner. Besides, preparations for the selection of the candidates are going on.

Besides, the other political parties are also gearing up for the upcoming village committee election.
