AGARTALA, Dec 24 (TIWN): On the celebration of Fateha Doaz Daham a rally has been organized from Indranagar on Thursday.
The programme has been inaugurated by the Minority Development Minister Sahid Choudhury in the presence of other dignitaries.
Fateha-i-Yajdaham or Fateha Doaz daham is day of birth celebrations of Ghos e Azam Shaikh Abdul Qadir Gilani Rahmtullah adjacent to the birth day of the Islamic prophet, Muhammad.
The occasion is the birthday of Muhammad, the profounder of the faith of Islam, more politely to be styled as Hazrat Muhammad, the Prophet. The occasion is known by different names, such as, Eid-ud-Milad-un-Nabi, or Fateh-Doaz-Daham, or Malwid.
However, the rally has been organized with an aim to spread the message of peace in the state. The rally initiated from Indranagar and walked across the state to spread the message of peace in the state.
Hundreds of people belongs to Muslim Community joins the rally with fags and festoons. Besides, on the occasion of the celebration the Government sectors were announced holiday.
