AGARTALA / TELIAMURA, Dec 20 (TIWN): One after one patient’s deaths due to doctor’s negligence has hit the whole state. In yet another event a 48 days infant boy namely Subrajit Debnath has died at Teliamura hospital here on Friday, allegedly due to the wrong treatment by the doctor.
Patient parties alleged that his death was nothing but the result of wrong treatment done by Teliamura doctors.
Following that incident people of Teliamura had come into massive protest and started vandalism. For hours locals also blocked the road of Teliamura.
To control the situation police had to impose lathi-charge. As a result resent public damaged the police vehicle also.
After that incidents, section 144 had been imposed at Teliamura. Teliamura is presently under strict vigilance and taking control with the help of BSF.
According to the reports PCC President Birajit Sinha, along with other Cong. members also rushed to that place and inquired about the incident. Cong. has strongly criticized that incident, which occurred at Teliamura Hospital.
