BELONIA, Dec 18 (TIWN): All the 15 elected candidates of Belonia in the recent Municipal election have taken oath on December 18 at Belonia Town Hall.According to the Official report, Sabhadhipati Himanshu Roy,MLA Basudeb Majumder,MLA Sudhan Das and other dignitaries remained present as guests in the programme. ADM South RH Kumar has taken over oath taking process.

In all the 15 seats of the Belonia Municipal council, Left front has captured in all 15 wards.

However, all the candidates of Udaipur also took oath on December 18.  With the declaration of the results of the civic poll, LF has captured the majority by winning in 15 wards at Belonia Municipal council.According to the reports, Smt Subhra Mitra took oath as the Chairperson of the Belonia Municipal Corporation, Subal Roy as Vice-Chairperson.

However, once again the Left Front has swept the all the civic bodies including Belonia Municipal Corporation. Besides, the opposition could not create any impact to win over the election.
