KAILASHAHAR / AGARTALA, Dec 18 (TIWN): 3 years have been lapsed since Minister Manik Dey had laid the foundation stone of a multi-complex at Kailashahar.

The inauguration programme was held at Dec 17, 2012 when many dignitaries had been present and long lectures was given with the visions of Kailashahar to be associated with various cultural programme via this complex. 

3 years have been passed, but the building is left without construction and thus the people of Kailashahar is still waiting for the inauguration programme.

According to the sources, in total Rs. 19 crores was allocated for this building construction. But the work was delaying day after day and sources said that in total 3 years, 3 times the construction companies were changed.

Before 1 month a Rajasthan based company, N Kumar & Company had taken the charge of this building construction. It has been said that the work is no way to complete before 2017’s month of August. Before that, the inauguration of this cultural multi-complex is no way possible.

The foundation was laid on the opposite side of Kailshahar Hospital. It was decided that this multi-complex will be boosted with modern technology also. But all these decisions are yet to be actualized.

The people, who love cultural essence, want that this multi-complex would be completed as soon as possible. But the progress of the work is rather slow and arising controversy among the public of Kailshahahar.

 In this regard, it’s to be mentioned here that the Belonia sub-division had already made this multi-complex before 2 years and the work was done very fast there. But the Kailshahar Multi-complex has failed to build up and thus went in almost gutter, with huge embezzlement of funds.
