Another misappropriation of money in Gomati district again comes to limelight. The dilapidated condition of the Gomati Bridge after two spans of the bridge has been damaged. As a result vehicles movement through this way and all the connections between villages under Karbook RD Block remained closed.

 This is the only way devotees were move together in the Mega Thirtha Mukh mela. Moreover there are 1 ½ Months left for Thirthamukh Mela. Local people already raise their question over local administration to solve Gomati Bridge construction work before Thirthamukh Mela.

While talking to TIWN Executive Engineer said that they will ask tender about this and within 2/3 months this work will be completed. Now it is to be seen how many days it would take to fulfill the Bridge work practically.

The present condition of Gomati Bridge is glaring example of misappropriation of funds in the name of construction of bridge over Gomati River.
