AGARTALA, Dec 9 (TIWN): Although the final report yet to be come but till 3 pm Udaipur completed 79 % vote casting, says Udaipur SDM Subashish Banarjee to TIWN. He also mentioned, till now no unpleasant event has been occurred in Udaipur.

In total of 21 wards polling is going on. However, Banarjee also said that last time Udaipur had 19 wards and this time it has increased into 21.

The sensitive areas have been provided with tight security and CRPF Jawans have been included in more numbers, said SDM.

However, the Udaipur Administration kept the record of 7 AM, 9 AM, 11 AM and 3 PM. The poll began  at 7 AM and to be continued till 5 pm.

Security is tightened in every wards of Udaipur, and hopefully no untoward incident is reported from any part of the subdivision, said Banarjee.  

Security measures have tightened in Udaipur alongwith the other parts of state, security personnel keeping strict vigil for the peaceful conduct on the municipal election.
