AGARTALA, Dec 7 (TIWN): Manik Sarkar and the Kerala leaders still see the Congress as their prime challenge in their own state even though CPI-M politbureau leaders like Sitaram Yechury, Brinda Karat maintains political honeymoon with Congress President Sonia Gandhi. Tripura CM Manik Sarkar on Sunday during his election campaign at Sonamura criticized Party’s central leadership on Poll alignments with Congress in 2016 West Bengal Poll, also praised FSA act and how it’s helping the poor people in CPI-M’s era at Tripura, but in reality, this same scheme was earlier criticized by his own party members before the implementation. CM also claimed that all these ‘Central Schemes’ were the brainworks of CPI-M which have been implemented now, even though the fact is CPI-M was against these Central schemes and did a lot of drama against implementation. Question arises, how can CM claim credit for Food Security Act (FSA) as brain work of CPI-M? How can Manik claim for the credit when earlier CPI-M strictly opposed that scheme ? Manik Sarkar also hell bent on maintaining his ‘clean image’ by uttering blatant lies about Central schemes as CPI-M schemes which were devised and 100% funded by Central Govt., so to satisfy his lust for the position as ‘lifelong’ CM of Tripura playing a new game by his good oratory to fool masses.

CM concluded election rally at Sonamura with his comment against CPI-M party’’s central committee by saying that CPI-M throughout the country lacks unity among themselves, took wrong polices on Congress and as a result the party’s position has gone down nationally.

During his interview at NDTV at Civil Secretariat on Nov 27,2015, CM also uttered the same and criticized Bengal CPI-M for their failures and trumpeted his drums.

CM mentioned (In NDTV’s interview) that at the West Bengal CPI-M had failed to keep their promises and as a result CPM had been abandoned there.

However, one after once CM’s comment against his own partyin West Bengal and Delhi can put him in trouble as very soon, central committee of left front will be made and according to the sources, CM might then has to answer for his unpleasant comments against CPI-M.

Whereas now Sarkar’s government is now speaking in favour of the act, even shamelessly claiming FSA was their brain work. Does it not show the double standard attitude of Manik Sarkar?

However, the local committees of ruling party have started congratulating Manik Sarkar for implementing the act across the state. It is mentionable here that FSA was the brain work of Congress led UPA government in the centre with CPI-M behind it.

But the fact is  it was implemented by BJP led NDA government. Manik Sarkar government was forced to implement FSA in the state from September 1 last by Centre.

Even Manik's Govt  failed to implement the FSA act till date.

However it’s worthy to mention here that Ruling CPI-M has crossed all limits in misleading and fooling the people of the state through its dirty politics. The four social pensions declared by central government recently. CPI-M claims that they imparted pressure over centre and was instrumental in implementing the four schemes.

Ahead of urban body election, Manik failed to provide pure drinking water to Municipality area inhabitants till today after 24 years.

Manik Sarkar Govt’s significant failures:

  1. Failure to provide clean drainage systems, smooth roads , lights ,flyovers even in Urban areas.
  2. Failure to provide Minimum Health care or fails to establish any good Hospitals
  3. Failure to establish any significant industry in Tripura though it is now 3rd Internet Gateway, rich in Rubber/Bamboo/Pinapple etc.
  4. Manik Sarkar, his lameduck IT Minister Tapan Chakraborty, highly paid IAS official and IT Secretary Puneet Agarwal failed to develop IT sector even after Agartala now India’s 3rd Internet Gateway.

Various scams in different centrally sponsored funds have been unearthed in Tripura which is fueling the massive crores of expenditures in election campaigning across State.

Few well known scams are :

1) Rs 51 crore MGNREGA scam in Bishalgarh R D Block

2) Rs 40 crore scam in NRHM in Kailashar CMO OFFICE

3) Rs 14 crore scam in Rupaichhari R D Block

4) Rs 1.27 crore scam in Udaipur Municipal Council

5) Rs 5 crore RMSA scam in School Education Department

Statewide people are observing massive expenditures by various parties with CPI-M leading expenses but no proper Election expense monitoring are visible  by Tripura Election Commission under new Election Commissioner & former Chief Secretary G.Kameswar Rao
