BJP leader Rupa Ganguly urges people to vote for the party to witness growth in the state

AGARTALA, Dec 5 (TIWN): Bharatiya Janta Party leader of West Bengal, Rupa Ganguly on Saturday while addressing the election campaign at Sakuntala road for the ensuing municipal election criticized the left front government for the poor condition of the roads, poor supply of electricity, polluted drinking water and the long deprivation of the common people under the left regime in the state.

Ganguly while addressing the rally further said that under the rule of the LF the people of the state are continuously deprived of the basic need and to see development in the state one should vote for BJP and make them win the municipal election to witness development and growth in the state.

 It is to be mentioned here that Bharatiya Janta Party leader of West Bengal, Rupa Ganguly  arrived on Friday in Tripura  and hold mass gathering at Dharmanagar, Kumarghat and Agartala.

On Saturday after completing the campaign at Kumarghat, in the evening she addressed the mass gathering at Shakuntala road.

However, on Friday BJP leader of West Bengal Rupa Ganguly was welcomed by BJP State President Sudhindra Dasgupta at Agartala Airport. 

It’s to be mentioned here that Rupa Ganguly is an Indian actress, playback singer and politician. She became popular after playing Mahabharat heroine character Draupadi in the hit television series Mahabharata (1988). She also acted in the main role in many famous movies.

When Left Front Party and Pradesh Congress Committee are participating enthusiastically in election campaign without any miss, BJP is also no more behind.

It is to be mentioned here that counting of votes for 5 lakhs, 37 thousand, and 986 voters would take place on December 12.  Among them 2 lakhs, 69 thousands and 214 are male voters and 2 lakhs, 68 thousands and 754 are female voters.

However, the Municipal election will held on December 9 and the counting will be conducted on December 12.
