KAMALPUR, Dec 5 (TIWN): The Nagar Panchayat poll turned to be something like assembly poll here at Kamalpur. And the temper and scenario turned such for the hyper activity of CPI-M party. Being the most dominant political party and the undefeated ruler of Nagar Panchayat from the beginning, the party remained well aware that, this time too, the party would gain the control.
Still random propaganda, hiring of leaders for the election for different wards, creating noise pollution throughout the day by roaming the vehicle with recorded songs in different parts of the Nagar Panchayat area became the familiar traits of the CPI-M propaganda here. Moreover, even after the continuous joining of people from the opponent parties made the win secured for CPI-M.
Still, the leaders of CPI-M used to roam into the houses of voters every day. The same voter had to suffer the mental agony for the requests of the CPI-M party for their candidates. And it remained mysterious that, even now the CPI-M could not believe to have an opposition less board. According to the political analysts, the situation became so, as the party failed to believe in common people and the system of democracy. Further, the sacking of the candidates closed to one heavyweight leader might show its magic. This also created concern for the present Sub-divisional Secretary Anjan Das who planned to implement his monopoly in the party according to the tradition prevalent here.
And in this context, the trumpeted demand of CPI-M to form opposition less board might remain out of reach, according to the analysts due to much hurly-burly here.
