AGARTALA, November 28 (TIWN): With the aim to accomplish the civic poll peacefully, State Election Commission is going to deploy 24 observers to monitor the election.

Observers will monitor the situation at various polling stations and report via text message on questions such as staffing and electoral materials.

According to the reports, Bishnu Pada Das, Addl. Chief Engineer, Urban Development had been deployed at AMC Constituency (1-10), Balin Debbarma, IAS, Director, ES & MP for AMC Constituency (11-19).

Pankaj Chakraborty, IAS, Director, LRS Department for AMC Constituency (20-27), T.K. Chakma, IAS, Direct, HH & S for AMC Constituency (28-34), S.M.Das, TCS SSG, Director, Minorities Welfare AMC Constituency (35-42), Shri A.K.Debbarma, TCS SSG, Director, OBC Welfare AMC Constituency (43-49), Dulal Ch. Das, TCS SSG, Director, YA & S for Teliamura Nagar Panchayat & Bramacharra G. P. Seat No.2/I & Madhya Krishnapur G.P. Seat No. 10/VI under Teliamura RD Block.

Besides, Santanu Debbarma, TCS SSG, Director, ICA has been deployed at Mohanpur Municipal Council & Bamutia Panchayat Samiti Seat No.7 under Bamutia RD Block, Arup Ratan Sharma, IFS, Chief Executive Officer for TRLM for Bishalgarh Municipal Council, Kamalasagar G.P. Seat No. 10/VI, Pathalia G.P. Seat No. 8/IV, & Krishna Kishore Nagar G.P. Seat No. 1/I under Bishalgarh RD Block, Bishramganj G.P. Seat No. 11/VI under Charilam RD Block, Tapas Roy, TCS SSG, Director, Tourism for Sonamura Nagar Panchayat and Uttar Maheshpur G.P. Seat No. 7/IV under Kathalia RD Block, Arabinda Nath, Superintending Engineer, O/o Chief Engineer, DWS for Melaghar Municipal Council and Mohanbhog G.P. Seat No. 1/I under Mohanbhog RD Block, L.T.
