KAMALPUR, Nov 26, (TIWN): The 119th edition of Maharas Jatra Fair and Utsav concluded amidst surging enthusiasm and celebration last night. People thronged into the festivity and enjoyed celebration till morning. As the night passed more and more people gathered in the celebration at Baralutma. Although it was declared earlier that Minister Naresh Jamatia would inaugurate the Utsav but due to his non-arrival MLA Anjan Das inaugurated the Utsav.

In the last and fourth evening of the 119^th Maharas Jatra Utsav and Fair people from in and outside the State thronged into the celebration at Baralutma. Virtually, people rocked the streets throughout the night. The traditional religious observations of Rakhal Nritya, Gopi Nritya and Raas Lila continued at three mandaps (temples). Besides, the gaiety land and circus attracted the youngsters a lot. The businessmen gathered from different parts of the state also pocketed a huge profit.

But contrary to previous years, beggars begging money lying on the open road also got found. The festivity and celebrations continued till this morning.
