KAILASAHAR, Nov 23 (TIWN): The old motor stand at kailasahar, has turned into a deplorable condition within a period of few days of the construction. The motor Stand is in awful condition while the footpath along the road is almost occupied by the fruit sellers, compelling the pedestrians to walk on the road thereby putting their lives to risk.

The old motor stand was inaugurated by Minister Manik Dey and within the few days of the inauguration different loopholes came in front of the people. However, within few days, a huge crack was witnessed in the wall of the motor stand.

However, to bluff the people and to hush up the scene the contractor engaged in the work has put paint in the wall but even after putting paint in the wall the crack in the wall could not hide the collapse.

However, it is to be mentioned here that low graded materials are used for the construction and within few days of construction a big crack is noticed in the wall which is now at the risk zone. 

The construction agent used extremely poor quality of iron rods and cement and sand and there was a series of irregularities in the construction, alleged locals.

A huge crack was noticed in the wall resulting chaos among the people in the area. As in construction of the building poor quality of bricks and concretes were used the roads are now collapsing.

Further, locals criticized the use of the low graded material in the construction work and there is no initiative by concerned authority to look into the matter.

According to source the local people, have been demanding for renovation for long time of the motor Stand area, but their demands have fallen into the deaf ears and now there is risk as the entire building may collapsed at any moment.
