AGARTALA, Nov 21 (TIWN): Every drama has some hidden cause without which it is impossible to give proper shape to a creation. But the playwrights should not forget their roots even if they focus on modern creation, and with the aim to rejuvenate the culture of drama art Student Federation of India has organized a four day long inter college drama festival . The festival was inaugurated by AMC mayor Prafullajit Sinha at Sukanta Academy on Friday.

Different college of the state are scheduled to stage different drama on varied themes in the inter college drama festival.

To enrich the audience of Tripura through many events and other theatrical activities over the period and also to connect other cities across the country with many regional theatres which are normally untouched and unseen at large, particularly the work on regional theatre by young talented artists of SFI has taken the initiative to organize 4 day long drama festival.

The platform of drama art is not only confined to pass a message to the society but it also gives a platform to the aspiring artist of different corners of the society who still believes in drama and find it a strong arts to bind people across the country.  SFI has a given an open a platform to the artist to showcase their hidden talents in front of the people.
