AGARTALA, Nov 18 (TIWN): All Tripura NGOs Association on Tuesday hold a press meet raising voice against the sentimental decision taken by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education for the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students.
Alleging negligence of the State Government, All Tripura NGOs Association demanded to cancel the earlier advertisement where the drop our students have to seat for the exam according to the allocated centres.
It is to be mentioned here that after the authority took the decision that the students have to seats for the exam as per the centres whether it is near of far, it has become problem for them. Mostly the poor families have to face problem.
The association member said that if the Government allows the student to seat for the exam in the nearby school from their coaching centre than it would have been helpful for the students and their families, as they do not have to pay any extra money for the house where they have to stay as tenant during the exam tenure.
According to the members of the association, despite of prolonged demands the education department and the state government are not taking any initiative to help the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students.
However, it is to be mentioned here that if the authority do not take any initiative for the needy students than the association would be bound to go for a massive protest in the coming days.
The organisation have been raising question against the sentimental decision taken by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education for the madhyamik drop-out S.T. students.
