UDAIPUR/ AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): Udaipur Police on Saturday recovered a body of a minor from the Gomati River.
Reportedly, OC Dipendu Roy along with other officials and TSR rushed to the spot after the locals informed about the body found floating over the Gomati River.
Later, the body has been identified by the police. It has been mentioned that the name of the deceased is Imraan Hussain (14). He was the son of Dhan Mia and resident of Sukanta Palli of Rajarbaag. Imraan Hussian was the student of Ramesh School of class- 8.
According to the statement of the family members, Imraan Hussain went to take bath at Gomati River. After many hours when he was not returning home, the family members started to search for him.
Later, in the evening they registered complaint at the R. K Pur police station.
R. K Pur Police on Saturday recovered the body of Imraan Hussian kept it at the morgue of Gomati Hospital for Post Mortem. Police will conduct further investigation.
However, the police suspect that it can be a murder. The police is further investigating the case.
