AGARTALA, Nov 14 (TIWN): In a drive to earn good name for the Tripura police, the so called police team led by additional SP Sharmistha Chakraborty have not thought for a fraction of a second before doing the character assassination of the innocent girls and boys who went to those particular 3 restaurants to spend some time over food with their loved ones.‘Prostitutes’, ‘sex workers’ have now become the identity of those girls who were unfortunately trapped under the police raid, which is only due to misuse of power and position of Tripura police.Question arises, who will be responsible if any girl commit suicide due to the bad name, will Tripura police come to saviour of those girls who are being badly eyed by the so-called “society”. Will Tripura police help those juvenile girls to get back the love of her friends and teachers in their school? What will Tripura police do if any parent of those 26 innocent abandons their children’s?

Only due to the foolish activity of Tripura police has given the society a chance to treat those people as a laughing stock for their entertainment. Tripura police attempt to receive few credits in favour of them by ruining the reputation of those innocent girls & boys, by presenting them as prone-stars.

Undoubtedly the good initiative taken by the tripura police is put on question with their foolishness of arresting all those found there in the restaurants.

Generally, whenever such a raid is done, police instantly releases the persons who are found in such restaurant or hotels. But police like Sharmistha Chakraborty who made the charge sheet was stick to enjoy the scenario by keeping those young boys and girls in lock up. However, courts didn’t gave the bail order to 3 owners of the hotels and 2 prime accused in this case. According to the sources, court warns the police dept. for such an irrational job and to disturb the lives of innocent youths.

 It’s to be mentioned here, on the one hand when crime against women at a rise here in Tripura, police maintains silence and negligence, and on the other hand to show their power, police showed activeness to spoil innocent lives. Sharmistha Chakraborty whereas was giving long lectures about the increasing sex rackets, after the court’s hearing was passed, while talking to TIWN she was rather silent and shy to talk. Being unwilling to talk to media she further was silent and did not to make any comment against court’s decision.
