The Grand Alliance has brought a landslide victory with nearly a two-thirds majority to give Nitish Kumar a third term in power after decimating the BJP-led alliance in the high-stakes Assembly elections in Bihar.
Nitish Kumar will be Bihar chief minister for a third straight term, with the state handing the Grand Alliance that he leads a big win in the assembly elections.
This is a victory of Bihar's people and Bihar's self-respect, Barman said, adding, that the "people have voted against intolerance and for democracy.
The grand alliance of RJD, JDU and congress has brought victory to Bihar in the 2015 assembly election, claimed Barman.
He further said that, Bihar has shown what the nation wants.

After a nail-biting fight to grab majority in the 243-member Bihar Assembly, the Grand Alliance, comprising Bihar Chief Minister Nitsh Kumars JD (U), Lalu Prasad Yadavs (RJD) and Congress, emerged a winner and is all set to form the government in Bihar as the counting for the assembly election proceeded on Sunday.
During the early morning trends, the NDA, led by BJP, was leading. However, in a dramatic change, the Nitish Kumar-Lalu Yadav-Congress alliance came ahead leaving PM Narendra Modis BJP trailing far behind. According to latest trends, the Grand Alliance is leading in 165 seats while the BJP and its three allies are trailing behind in 70 seats. Others are leading in eight seats.
