Diwali preparation on the peak at Matabari, stall arrangement started

AGRATALA, Nov 5 (TIWN): Distribution of lottery coupons for opening of stalls in the temple premises begins on Wednesday at Udaipur.

The distribution programme of lottery coupon will continue till November 7.

Keeping eye on the ensuing auspicious celebration of Diwali festival at Udaipur Tripura Sundari Temple Information and Cultural Department has scheduled to organize various cultural programmes and exhibitions.

Reportedly, the department has made arrangements for the whole night cultural programme at Dhanyamanikya Mukta Mancha here on November 10 and November 11.

A working committee has been formed comprising of 137 members with MLA Madhav Saha as Chairman and SDM Subhasish Bandopadhyay as Secretary. Besides, 9 sub committees were formed.

Cultural programmes to be performed on November 10 includes - inaugural song, group dance and song by artists of Sanskritik Samannay Kendra Udaipur division, Matabari and Chandrapur school; drama (Agartala); Gajan NrityaUdaipur; Hajagiri danceDashami Reang Para; Sangrai dance-Mog cultural society Garji; Garo danceGaro cultural society, Jari dance- Khilpara; Rabindra Nritya- Sajuti, Rabindra Parisad, Srijan and Nritya Academy; Sari danceKakrabon Women's Culturak Oraganization and Jhalak Dance Academy; Goria dance- Rabindrakala Mandir (Amarpur).

Besides, a drama based on mythological stories has been scheduled to organize by Mahadev Bari Development committee; solo song by Lakshman Das, Gouranga Ghosh, Binod Das. Tamal Bhattacharya, Upendra Debbarma, Gourabindo Sarkar, Narayan Debbarma, Tapan Malla Barman, Sukanta Ghosh, Shankar Sen Ghosh; Jatrapala- Jhumur Drama Institute and Sadhu Saitan.

On November 11, there will be Prabhati Kirtan- Paticherri Kirtan group and Juel Bhowmik and Tardal; solo song- Manjusree Bardhan, Arpit Sey, Inuja Bhattacharya, Bimal Chakraborty, Tultul Choushury, Priyanka Bhowmik, Ruma Chakraborty, Debadrita Roy, Jhuma Acharya, Prashanta Roy, Ratul Banik and Billal Hussain.

However, Puthipachali will be read by Maya Chakraborty; Manashamangal- Geeta Majumder; tribal kirtanAtharobhola Jamatia Hada; Ramayan Gaan-Bijoylaxmi Sinha; Kavigaan-Dilip Dey and group; group songChandrapur Lokaranjan branch and Gajan- Hurijala cultural group.

Preparations are in full swing Decorators are busy in putting colourful lights on the road sides. With an aim to celebrate the Diwali festival peacefully and systematically on Wednesday, distribution of lottery coupons for opening of stalls in the temple premises begins. 

It has been mentioned that every coupon will cost Rs. 30. The lottery programme will be organized on November 8 and will initiate from 10 am in the morning at the VIP room adjacent to the temple.

However, stalls will be distributed on November 8 and 9.
