KAMALPUR, Nov 4 (TIWN): What a saga the NFSA brought in the State! Not only the opposition Congress supporters and workers but the poverty-stricken CPIM supporters also got deprived of NFSA priority here at remote Srirampore village council at Kamalpur subdivision. And as the leaders failed to usher any ray of hope hence they came to the media for highlighting their fate.

Srirampore village council of the sub-division got traditionally ruled by the CPI-M from the beginning.  Maximum tribal residents of the village council remained the wild supporters of CPI-M. But the introduction of NFSA and the deprivation thereof made them to utter against the party-raj which they preserved so long. The locales Nirendra Debbarma, Purnacharan Debbarma, Biswarath Debbarma, Prabin kumar Debbarma, Binoy kumar Debbarma and many more who used to earn their livelihood as manual laborers and had hardly any land but the house in possession got deprived of NFSA priority list. Even they never got the facility of BPL category although they had all the required characteristics of BPL. Now when they knocked the party leaders they failed to provide them with any ray of hope. And the deprived and hopeless villagers sought the help of media to remedy their plight or at least to highlight it.
