AGARTALA, Nov 4 (TIWN): Pradesh Congress on Tuesday organized a protest rally, raising voice against the negligence attitude of the ruling Government towards the price hike in the daily commodities and hike in the electricity bill.
The protest rally has been started from the Tulshibati School and walked across the capital and assembled at Paradise Chowmuhani.
Besides, they also protested against the Agartala Municipal Corporation for its negligence towards the municipal area and the rampant pollution of Howrah water.
However, Tripura Pradesh Congress has called for series of massive protest in the State. On Tuesday the protest was held in all the 49 wards of the state.
According to the scheduled programme, Tripura Pradesh Congress would hold a protest rally on November 6 in all the 19 city of the state.
However, keeping eye on the ensuing Municipal and Nagar Panchayat election Congress is leaving no stone unturned to make the party win in the upcoming election.
The campaigning for the upcoming election will begin from November 5. However, Congress Spokesperson Ashoke Sinha has been appointed as the convenor for the launch of manifesto for AMC election.
