AGARTALA, Nov 3 (TIWN): Even after passage of 2 days of the loot and run case of the passenger at Battala, police is yet to find any clue to nab the culprits behind the case.

Yet in another bizarre incident a middle aged man was allegedly looted by a group of miscreants at Battala on Sunday and was left seriously injured.

Reportedly the incident took place on Saturday afternoon at Battala when a passenger was heading towards Agartala airport to catch his fight for Kolkata and further to Kuwait for job.

The victim is identified as Yaseen Miah, resident of kathalia kalikrishna village under Jatrapur police station. However, to catch his flight for Kolkata from Agartala he commuted on a maruti van for Airport. When he sat in the Maruti two other persons in the maruti threatened him with sharp weapon and asked him to give all the cash and goods to them or else he will be killed.

With the fear of death, Yassen Miah remained silent. Taking the advantage of his silence the miscreants looted an amount of 22 thousand, his mobile phone and all other goods along with the luggage from the man and thrown him out of the maruti van at Chandrapur.

By walking on foot from Chandrapur Yaseen Miah reached to east police station for police assistance but after one hour the east police personal asked him to lodge complaint with the west police station.

Later he walked up to west police station and lodged complaint against the miscreants.

However, after passage of 2 days in total of the incident police is yet clueless about the incident and is further investigating the case.
