AGARTALA, Oct 30 (TIWN): Tripura Commission for Women condemns over the incident and demanded strict action against the rape accused after a visit with 18-year old rape victim at Santir Bazaar.
Detailing about the incident of October 22, the 18-year old rape victim said that on the day of incident the victim along with her family which includes her father mother and brother went to see puja at the Dropgate of Takmacherra.
There she met with a friend namely Imraan whom she made friendship over phone. There Imraan insisted the victim to see puja with him at Garji.
After refusing for several time she finally agreed to go with him, said victim. Along with the accused man Imraan there was another friend of him, added.
All three of them hoped on the bike and started for Garji. Later, the victim noticed that a car with three persons inside was following their bike. Feeling something fishy, the victim asked accused Imraan to drop her at her house.
She further mentioned that instead of taking her to her house the gang took her to the jungle and raped her.
Later, they left her to her house in half-conscious condition. Seeing her in terrible condition, her family immediately took her to the hospital.
However, the commission and her family demands for strict action.
