AGARTALA, Oct 26 (TIWN): Keeping eye on the ensuing Municipal and Nagar Panchayat election ruling party is aiming to conduct the election by December 15.

The Communist Party of India-Marxist CPI (M) led Left Front government with the aim to swept the civic polls in Tripura the party is looking forward to conduct the election on their favourable dates by December 15.

Although the state election commission confirms the date after holding meetings with all the parties but here it seems that Manik’s word is the last word as the state election commission also abide by the words of the ruling party.

However, it is alleged that instead of holding meeting with all the parties the State election commission will scheduled the date accordingly with the wish of the ruling party.

It is to be mentioned here that keeping eye on the ensuing municipal election, polling station for 14 municipal council and 5 Nagar Panchayat areas are being declared.

In the entire state there are 676 polling stations for 20 municipal council areas.

The state election commission secretary mentioned that for the Agartala Municipal Corporation in the west district there are 389 polling stations, 13 polling station at ranirbazar, 13 at Mahonpur, and 11 at jirania.

In Khowai district, 15 polling stations are declared for the Khowai municipal council, 16 polling station at Teliamura.

13 polling stations are declared for Ambassa under Dhallai district and 11 polling stations for kampalpur nagar Panchayat. 18 polling stations are declared for Kailasahar under Unakoti district and 13 polling stations for kumarghat.

However, Dharmanagar is being allotted with 33 polling stations, panisagar nagar Panchayat with 11 polling stations under north district.

Bisalgarh under Sipahijala district is being given 16 polling stations, 13 under Melagarh, at 11 at Sonamura.

30 polling station at Udaipur under Gomati district, and 11 polling staion for Amarpur nagar Panchayat.

17 in Belonia, 13 in Santir bazaar and 9 for Sabreoom Nagar Panchayat under South District.
