AGARTALA, Oct 18 (TIWN): Aiming to revitalize the state BJP party, Minister of State (Agriculture), Govt. of India Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya on Saturday held a meeting with the delegates of the BJP party at BJP office premises.

Talking to TIWN Correspondent BJP state president Sudindra Dasgupta on Saturday said that meeting was held to discuss on the issue of the ongoing development project in the state.

Speaking at the official meeting with the leaders of state BJP party, Union Minister Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya discussed the ways to strengthen the party at all level. He laid stress on including members from every section of society in various organisation of the party right from the village level.

He said the focus of the party should be to form booth committees at the grass-roots level which remained a challenge for the party.

He said the workers should propagate welfare schemes initiated by the central government.

India will not develop till the Northeast develops. The central government is committed to realise the potential of the Northeast and accelerating its progress, added Kundariya.

Stressing on the necessity of development of Agriculture sector he said that there is a rapid improvement of new technologies in the field of farming and it is vital for the farmers to educate themselves on the new technologies. This will help in increasing their productivity, save energy and time and most importantly help them economically, he added.

However, he also urged the state to properly utilize the central schemes and fund given by the central government in the field of Agriculture for the quick development of the state.

It is to be mentioned here that keeping eye on the ensuing 2018 assembly election BJP is standing high with its goal and aspiration and to revitalize the state BJP party the union minister held the meeting state BJP party.

BJP state president Sudindra Dasgupta also said that the party has also informed the union minister about the bad governance of the ruling government and rising atrocities against women in the state.

It is to be mentioned here that Union Minister of State for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya arrived in the state on Friday morning at 9.35. Soon after his arrival, the Union Minister held a meeting with the state BJP leaders at State guest house Sonartori and discussed on several undergoing project in the state.

However, Union Minister of State for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya also inaugurated the agricultural exhibition at Indian Council of Agricultural Research ICAR, at ICAR complex, Lembucherra, on Friday and urged the farmers to embrace new technology for better yielding.  

Later he also held a meeting with Chief Minister Manik Sarkar in his office at the Civil Secretariat.

On the following day, the Union Minister would offer prayer to Tripureswari temple at Udaipur. While returning to the state capital, he is supposed to make a field visit at Bishalgarh. On October 18, the Union Minister will leave the state for Delhi.
