AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): In a bizarre incident, Puja Committee members of Netaji Play Forum on Thursday harassed a shopkeeper after he has refused to pay any amount as Puja Donation.
Reportedly, the incident took place at Netaji road of the Capital. Getting alarm about the incident West Police rushed to the spot and bought the situation under control.
According to the police sources, the situation has been brought under control and both the party has done a mutual solution.
Detailing about the incident, it has been mentioned that the puja committee members of Netaji Play Forum has given a black receipt to a shopkeeper name Malay Saha. Both the party had an argument over the blank receipt.
Reportedly, the business man was a member of Chatra Brand club therefore he refused to pay any kind of donation to any other club.
West Police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
According to the instruction administration, every pages of the receipt book should have serial number and seal of an official the nearest police station or outpost along with the signature of the President and the Secretary.
Besides, the name and address of the printing press must be mentioned. The amount of the collected contribution should be mentioned properly in word as well as number. No contribution should be accepted without providing a receipt copy and if any of the committee members are found violating the instruction will be punishable.
However, it has been strictly mentioned that only two members are allowed to go for the fee collection. The members are allowed to collect the free from the markets and shops from morning 10am to noon 12 pm where as from the houses they have to collect between 7 am in the morning to 9 am and in the evening from 5 pm to 6 pm.
