AGARTALA, Oct 16 (TIWN): The Tripura Wholesale Grocery Merchants Association on Thursday organised a cloth distribution program on the occasion of Durga Puja at Banijya Bhavan.

Clothes were distributed among the old aged women’s of Apna Ghar, including shirts were also distributed among the children’s residing at Nilajyoti Sevaashram, Nava prantik Ashram and others.

Altogether 90 people were distributed clothes ahead of Durga puja.

The Tripura Wholesale Grocery Merchants Association Joint Secretary Tamal Paul said that durga puja is for all and with the aim to provide a moment of joy to everyone the association has organised this program.

However, the program was also followed by lunch for all the people.
