AGARTALA, Oct 11 (TIWN): Addressing the anti-communalism convention, sponsored by the Tripura Anti-war Platform, CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri on Sunday at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan slammed the central government for doing the propaganda the 'hindutva policy'. Sad reality is 'communism' is dead in India, as well as future of communist parties bleak in all over country, abandoned and defeated miserably in Bengal and Kerala Polls, so hypocrites like Yechury prefer to slam Central Govt rather than focusing on saving the decaying party.
'RSS is trying to spread its network' - CPI (M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechuri also stated that the RSS is trying to encourage divisive politics and the Left Front will play a pro-active role to control the rise of the RSS.
He further said that, RSS is aiming to force "Hindutva ideologies" on the entire state by impeding the name of ruling party. It is trying to spread its ideals for creating a Hindu Rashtra. They are trying to force ideologies of Hindutva on educational institutions. In such a situation, the minority community is feeling alienated and are suffering from identity crisis.
It is to be mentioned here that CPI (M) General secretary Sitaram Yechuri on Sunday arrived in the state to attend an anti-communalism convention at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.
CPI (M) General secretary Sitaram Yechuri landed at Agartala airport at 10.42 in the morning and was welcomed by workers of the party in presence of some state party leaders at Agartala airport.
Receiving him from the Agartala airport, the leaders and the supporters of the ruling party also held a colourful bike rally, which moved across several parts of the state.
Unfortunatel Sitaram Yechury was warmly received by DYFI Secretary Amal Chakraborty, who is brother of Rs 51 crore MGNREGA scamster Bimal Chakraborty, which means that communists love corruption.
As a part of the rally, CPI (M) General secretary Sitaram Yechuri was also felicitated by the people at Usha Bazaar, Notun Nagar, Gurkhbosti and other places.
