UDAIPUR, Oct 5 (TIWN): A team of special nurse earlier recruited for the Tripura Sunadari Sub-divisional Hospital on Monday staged six hours of demonstration in front of the Gomati District Hospital, demanding to recruit them again.

The team of 40 special nurse demanded to recruit them again as they were being suspended one year ago as there were no need of them in the hospital after the Tripura Sundari Hospital has turned to sub-division hospital from the District level.

According to them, they were recruited by MS Debashish Roy and everyone has worked for several years in the Tripura Sundari Hospital. But they were suspended from the hospital more than one year ago because the authorities need them no more.

Therefore, they said that they had to earn for their living and if they do not job anywhere and are being suspended just because the hospital had to recruit nurses, it is unfair.

They further demanded to provide them job anywhere so that at least they can earn something for their livelihood.  

They also mentioned that earlier they had knocked the doors of many authorities but till day no initiatives has been taken yet. Further, they said that if no initiatives are taken soon then they would be bound to go for major protest.

However, during the demonstration no authorities had arrived to them.
