Visit 'Vaishno devi' this puja at Agartala

AGARTALA, Oct 5 (TIWN): With a budget of around 20 lakh, the Bharat Ratna club is all set to put up the replica of Vaishno devi at Agartala. Bharat Ratna Sangha of Ushabazaar, some 6 Km away from the city, is yet another major Durga Puja organizer of the state. The club has erected their pandal with the theme of ‘Vaishno devi’. The pandal is constructed with a height of 280 feet to replicate the Vaishno devi temple, originally located at the hills of Jammu.

The pandal will have traditional idols of Goddess Durga and will also have the images of the vaishno devi temple to replicate the temple of vaishno devi.

Bharat Ratna Sangha has hired a team of numbers of artisans for pandal and idol from Nawadeep of West Bengal led by artisan Nadugopal Das for construction of images of Goddess.  

A group of local decorators are engaged in pandal decoration as well illumination works.

It is to be mentioned here that Bharat Ratna Sangha has always been epicenter of huge attraction from the pandal hoppers and this year the ‘Vaishno Devi’ will attract more devotees.

It is to be mentioned here that the Vedic History of Vaishno Devi explains that there was no presence of female worshippers in the past while Rigveda found their presence in the mountain Trikuta. It especially focuses upon Shakti worship practice that continues since Puranic era.

Epic Mahabharata has detailed mention of the Mother Goddess which indicates its relevance since time immemorial. The Origin of Vaishno Devi’s best defined in this epic with reference to the Kurukshetra battlefield in which both Pandavand Kaurv armies faced each other.

The History of Vaishno Devi is enriched with many important references so are details about traditions and facts related with this Shrine that support its holiness. This place is considered best of the all holy places or Shaktipeeths that possess eternal energy through keeping the Mother Goddess safe. It is also known for one important reason of evidences found to observe the Mata Sati skull falling at this place.
