AGARTALA / NEW DELHI, Sep 30 (TIWN) The Delhi government organized a conclave of chief ministers in a New Delhi 5 Star Hotel (Hotel Imperial) on Wednesday to discuss the issues on co-operative federalism, said. a government official.West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar met Delhi CM Kejriwal in the conclave. An Official added that some other Chief Ministers did not show up. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar avoided conclave and sent a recorded message on the issue as he is busy in the preparations for the assembly elections in his state, the official said. The Delhi government had sent invitation to all chief ministers to discuss the centre-state relationship but only few chief ministers of non-Bharatiya Janata Party and non-Congress-ruled states were supposed to attend today's conclave but in reality it turned as a flop show as only fool Tripura CM flown from Agartala to attend conclave. Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee was already in Delhi for some other work so she showed up briefly as a token gesture. Recent arrests of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's two high profile Ministers : Jitender Singh Tomar for running fake degree racket, Somnath Bharti for violence against his wife severely has tarnished Kejriwal's credibility and positioned Delhi CM as a joker who had picked up all types of thugs to run his administration. Corruption tainted Tripura CM Manik Sarkar though craved for national limelight but Kejriwal’s flop show made both CMs as laughing stock for the rest of the country.

Communist Party of India-Marxist general secretary Sitaram Yechury earlier had said that after Kejriwal became chief minister, his party had suggested him to convene a meeting of non-BJP chief ministers.
According to officials at Delhi government, a discussion on co-operative federalism had become urgent in context of various states which had elected political parties different from the one in the centre.

'POOREST' CMs in Delhi's 5 Star Hotel Imperial : Tripura CM Manik Sarkar and Delhi CM in empty conclave
The agenda of this conclave was not to focus only on Delhi but also on the problems of other states which are facing the lack of centre-state coordination, the official said.

Luxary loving Kejriwal and Manik Sarkar- both CMs potray themselves as messiah of poor, also so called 'poorest' CMs but they chose to spend lakhs of rupees in an expensive 5 star hotel in New Delhi (Hotel 'The Imperial')  for their meeting rather than meeting in any Conference rooms in Delhi Govt State Secretariat.

Only Two Chairs in dais- one for Delhi CM Kejriwal, another for Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee as Mamata didn't want political bete-noire Tripura CM Manik Sarkar sitting next to her.

In a major humiliation, Manik Sarkar was not seated in dais as Mamata didn't want Manik next to her - same Mamata did when Modi took Bengal CM to Bangladesh for Agartala to Kolkata via Dhaka Bus inauguration. Just like Modi dumped Tripura CM for Mamata in June 2015 in Bangladesh, similarly Kejriwal sidelined Manik to appease Mamata Banerjee.
