TTJSNL organizes Annual General Meet

AGARTALA, September 24 (TIWN): Appreciating the gradual improvement of the Tripura Tapashili Jati Samabay Nigam Limited, Welfare of Scheduled Caste Minister Ratan Bhowmik on Thursday said that compare to the earlier condition of the organization recently it has improved a lot in the process of sanctioning and recovering the loans.

According to the report, during the financial year 2014-15 and the 2015-16 till the month of July major improvement have been seen in the number of beneficiaries and recovering the loans, said Minister Bhowmik while addressing the annual general meeting of Tripura Tapashili Jati Samabay Nigam Limited at SC Welfare Office.

Besides, Welfare of Scheduled Caste Minister also mentioned that earlier the organization was running very badly compare to the recent condition of it.

However, enhancing the initiatives of the State Government taken to improve the recovery process of the organization, Minister Bhowmik said that the few supervisors are recruited and some more will be recruited soon.

Welfare of Scheduled Caste Minister also said that the organization has been providing loans for the Higher Education which includes Nursing, MBA and may others. Minister Bhowmik also mentioned that the organization is not receiving any kind of help from the centre.  

The programme was inaugurated by Food, Civil supplies and Consumers Affairs Minister Bhanulal Saha in the presence of other dignitaries. 

According to the report, during the financial year 2014-2015 the number of SC beneficiaries were 915 and amount of loans provided were Rs. 1336.656 Lakh and altogether Rs. 429.96 Lakh have been recovered.

Altogether 154 Safai beneficiaries were provides Rs. 208.130 Lakh amount of loans and a total of Rs. 31.11 Lakh amounts were recovered.

Besides, a total amount of Rs. 67.660 Lakh of loans was provided to 29 Handicapped and a total of Rs. 6.94 Lakh was recovered.

However, as per report during the current financial year 2015-2016 till the month of July, the organization had a total of 92 SC beneficiaries and altogether Rs. 175.91 Lakhs of loan were provided and altogether Rs. 160.83 lakh were recovered.

Besides, a total of 82 Safai beneficiaries were provided with Rs. 135.50 lakhs of loan and altogether Rs. 18.15 lakhs were recovered. Altogether Rs. 22.10 lakhs were provided to 9 Handicapped beneficiaries and up to Rs. 4.65 lakhs were recovered.

During the programme, the share holders and employees of the organization were present.
