Attack on State Judiciary drew everyone’s attention: Why Manik Sarkar still silent ?

AGARTALA, Sep 24 (TIWN): As part of the “Political Drama” Tripura CM had enough time to walk on the road to propagate the “70yrs old WW-II Anti-War-Message”, but CM didn’t waste his valuable time to visit Sabroom Court till date after the ghastly incident of attack on judiciary which took place on Sept 2nd, solely instigated by CPI-M leaders. Sabroom Judge attack was condemned by all seems did not affect Triupra Chief Minister so much. In the so called “Golden Era” of Chief Minister where daily corruption, violence, murders, rapes are gripping the whole state, only Tripura High Court brought a fair change with few impartial judgments which affected the flow of crimes at the state. Unhappy CM with High Court’s judgments commented on the inauguration day of Sonamura Court building in August 6,2014. CM took a jibe at High Court and tersely commented “The judicial system in the state is seizing the food from poor people’s mouth”, pointing towards High Court Chief Justice Deepak Gupta who was also present at dais.

Manik’s aim was to point that illegally recruited 10,323 teachers, whose recruitments were cancelled by Tripura High Court and thus he threw questions on the judicial system of the state.

CM's apathy shows that CM rather prefer to keep silent over attack on judges as presently Judges  have become a threat for the “mafia-raj” led by CPI-M goons and Manik’s close aides like multicrore scamster BDO Bimal Chakraborty.

When High Court tried to bring back the human rights by rendering lessons to Tripura govt:  how to recruit employees, how to give promotion to employees and how under CM’s supervision his officers were looting the money from the public funds, CM instead of learning anything kept on blaming the Judicial system to propagate his “clean image”.

Surprisingly, in this Golden Era of left-front party is the highest order, democracy seems has no place. The matter was evident when a group of CPI-M cadres attacked on Sabroom Magistrate Saurabh Saha during All India Strike, on Sept 2.

Keeping in front all the corruption led by CPI-M rule govt. on wednesday “Legal and Human Rights Department” arranged a silent rally, where Tripura’s renowned advocates as Pijush Kanti Bhowmik and Kalyani Roy lead the rally.

However talking to Kalyani Roy, she said that, “When High Court brought few judgements against few of the corrupted persons, Magistrates have been attacked by CPI-M goons. Manik’s pet goons are spread evreywhere to act accordingly to his instructions. From Rose Valley to RD scam-stars all are safe in Manik’s era but Manik’s ego hurts when Tripura High Court brought an obstracle in the middle of the journey of corruption and one after one his goons were being arrested and dumped into jail”.

“When people cannot rely upon the system they would knock the door of court. But when court brings fair judgments, then it may harm the business of few people and that exactly happened at Tripura on 2nd September, the outrage of which was taken by attacking the Judges”, added Roy.

It’s to be mentioned here that during 24 hour’s All India Strike Sabroom Court Magistrate Saurabh Saha was attacked by the CPI-M leaders  before the Sabroom Court.  It was against CPI-M’s wish that any people would go to office on that day, especially when CPI-M themselves had called for the strike. But the door of justice cannot be stopped ever. But surprisingly , when Saha was on the way to the court, the CPI-M leaders stopped him on the way and threatened him not to enter. Later, they had attacked upon him and other officials also got injured by them.

Tripura High Court Chief Justice Deepak Gupta visited Sabroom and condemned the incident and said, ‘attacks on Judges are dangerous precedent in a democratic society’.

However, it’s to be mentioned here that  the “attack on judge” was of course silently enjoyed by Sarkar himself, as a result he remained silent after the incident. Although that incident grieved all and drew everyone’s attention.

CM is silent. Question arises: What kind of state is this where judges are also unsafe? Where are the place for human rights?

Chief Minister rather finding faults with his own officials like then Education Secretary Banamali Sinha or Chief Secretary S.K.Panda who were actual culprits for advising Govt on 10323 recruitments, Chief Minister always preferred to blast State Judiciary. Sept 2nd  has become a black day in the history of Tripura for attacking judges, CM is still silent over that incident. From BJP to Cong. as well as High Court Justices visited that place of crime except Tripura Chief Minister.
