AGARTALA, Sept 23 (TIWN): Although Tripura Chief Minsiter Manik Sarkar claimed many times about NLFT’s presence at neighbouring country Bangladesh, also alleged foreign govt. for sheltering terrorists, but till date CM has not much clue about NLFT’s ever rising insurgent activities in Tripura. One after another incidents of NLFT cadres infiltration into Tripura creating tensions among the people of State. Tripura is suffering from such terrorist activities, many parts of the border remained unfenced and thus those areas have become open fields for insurgents to enter Tripura. At Bhangmun border area, under Kanchanpur Sub-division, NLFT insurgents rapidly enter by taking the advantage of unfenced border. At Bhangmun Indo-Bangla border area, at least 5 km areas are left unfenced although pillars have been set in that area, but no fencing has been done yet. Although as per the central govt.’s rule, border areas would be provided with lights, but on that area it remains dark during the nights. As a result, from evening border area becomes frightening due to continuous attacks by robbers, terrorists and other illegal activities.Day by day Tripura is coming under danger due to NLFT’s spiked up activities. A week back, 3 NLFT Militants were nabbed by police from the heart of Agartala near CM's residence who entered Tripura with the mission to blast Agartala city during Durga Puja 2015. Earlier also in the year 2008 series bomb blasting caused death to many people, and this year also NLFT made a master-plan to create communual violence during Durga Puja festival.

A 6 members’ team of NLFT was trained to succeed the planned blast during puja season . Sources say that in the hilly parts of Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), those youths were trained and thus selected for this mission and more 6 members team were to made, especially for this blast.Among them 2 persons namely Kanendra Tripura and Binduram Tripura are found active members of NLFT and getting trained by NLFT’s camp based in CHT.

Police found another NLFT Militant Rajesh Debbarma, resident of Bisramganj, involved in this case.

NLFT at Bangladesh engaging more people from Tripura, especially youngstars in their mission, for which Tripura govt. would take serious steps as:
1.     Solve the problems of border-fencing in all parts of Tipura,
2.     Install lamp-posts in border areas,
3.     Maintaining tight securities during day and night by BSF or TSR,
4.     Installing CCTV cameras in the fencing region,
5.     Proper investigation of NLFT cases: as the terrorist who have been caught, many sources can be known by their own mounths
However in last month (August 22) after the NSCN (IM), one more banned terrorist group in Northeastern India had surrendered; CM Manik Sarkar hopefully said, “the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) may give up arms and sign a peace pact with the government”.
"Under the Indian constitution, we are ready to hold talks on any issues of the NLFT”, CM also added. But it’s to be mentioned that instead of talks and hoping for terrorists’ surrender Govt. would take action as 2008’s event’s repetition may spoil the peace of NE state Tripura.
