AGARTALA, September 23 (TIWN): On the occasion of the 25th State Convention, Tripura Nyajya Mullyer Dokan Parichalak Samity has scheduled to organize a two-day long programme on October 1.

TNMDPS President Chakraborty announced in a Press Conference on Wednesday that on the occasion of the 25th State Convention a Mega Health Camp will be organized on September 25 at the TNMDPS office, HGB Road.

During the Mega Camp, the organization will take initiatives to provide free medicine to patient which will be within their limit. Besides, ECG test facility will also be there and treatment facility will be given with free of cost.

Addressing a Press Conference TNMDPS President Pradip Chakraborty on Wednesday said that the programme is expected to be inaugurated by Food, Civil supplies and Consumers Affairs Minister Bhanu Lal Saha.

Chakraborty further mentioned that to mark the 25th State Convention the ration shops will remain close on October 1.

However, Agartala Municipal Corporation Mayor Prafullajit Sinha, Deputy Mayor Samar Chakraborty and All India Fare Price Shop Dealers’ Federation Treasurer Kiran Pal Singh Tyagi and other are expected to remain present.

The programme of the 25th State Convention of TNMDPS which is expected to be organized on October 1 will continue till October 2.

Speaking at the Press Conference TNMDPS President informed that the 24th State Convention was organized at Belonia. However, they are now expecting that people will also participate in the 25th State Convention.
