AGARTALA, Sept 23 (TIWN): Either in the matter of infrastructure or CPI-M brigade doctor’s negligence, patients suffering in govt. hospitals never ends in Tripura. CM Manik openly aks the departments to take care of the infrastructure and alongwith other equipments but never care to visit Hospitals; rather CM has plenty of time to attend 'Sani Puja' to 'Quiz Competitions' to Club's cultural shows.

Carelessness of doctors and staffs in govt. hospitals risks lives under Manik Sarkar's golden rule everyday.

'Lecture Master' CM often claims that Tripura govt. hospitals are not running commercially, so all the doctors and nurses would dedicatedly deliver their services to the patients in the hospital, but after all those lectures, the problem remains same and from Health Minister to Chief Minister everyone has turned their blind eyes into these problems.

But at a glance it will be cleared that from rural Tripura to Agartala city everywhere hospitals are suffering due to lack of proper infrastructure as well as due to lack of doctor’s special concentration towards the patients.

Allegations are coming against Tripura’s most  renowned hospital GB hospital for doctors’ negligence role over there. Patients on Monday alleged that instead of so many complaints no official visits there to observe the condition of the hospital. Especially the lab of blood test is in deplorable condition.

No 14’s ward at GB hospital which is used for blood testing, the patients were sent to No 17  ward regularly.

Moreover patients were sent to collect test-tubes for own self. However after collecting the tubes, patients used to stand in a long queue and then only, the workers collect the blood.

Very often the workers send the patients back to ward no 14, by saying that the patient had collected the wrong tube. Question arises, why the patients would collect test tubes tubes for own selves? Neither they instruct the patients about what kind of tube or container they would bring. Due to this, the patients have to go back to bring another sample of container.

Patients also alleged that, although patients are standing in long queue in empty stomach, the workers have no concern for this. They often take break to have tea or tiffin by leaving the patients in a long row.Such kind of problem prevails not only at GB Hospital, but also in other hospitals.

Lack of beds, doctors, drinking water scarcity all these are common issues in govt run hospitals. Moreover power disruption at GB and AGMC are very frequents problems.

Just weeks back at IGM, 3 people of a same family died due to the negligence of the doctors. The family of the deceased lodged FIR at West P S alleging that due to the wrong treatment had been done by doctors 3 of them died. However such allegations are many against Tripura Govt. hospitals.

Not only at Agartala but in various parts of the state people are suffering due to health service’s pathetic conditions. Kailashar Rajib Gandhi Memorial Hospital is breaking down in many parts. According to the reports, since last 10 years no initiative has been taken to renovate its condition. Before few days 2 persons were in the verge of death when a part of the wall before emergency room had broken down. Patients suffer in Hospital due to the lack of Drinking Water often.

Gomati Dist hospital refers the patients to GB Hospital at Agartala and due to long distance from Udaipur patients often die. Such is the condition of health centres. Before few days a doctor namely Tamal Sarkar was given show cause letter by CMO, Gomati Dist. for pushing expired dated saline to a 14 year’s girl. Then the generic medicine centres which had been established for the welfare of people, but presently many allegations are coming against their reliability.

Primary heath centres are for the name-sake. In Maximum primary health centres, doctor’s absence is a very common issue, due to which rural people are the most sufferers. So, in overall view Tripura Health Centres are badly suffering due to various infrastructural and other such issues.
