AGARTALA, Sep 23 (TIWN): With the arrival of Union Minister Dr. Harsh Vardan, State BJP leaders are in upbeat mood to strike CPI-M politically as scam-loving CPI-M Chief Minister failed to tackle rising poverty and suicidal deaths. Union Minister met BJP state president Sudhindra Dasgupta on Tuesday evening and discussed on 3 major issues affecting lakhs of people. State BJP chief while talking to TIWN over phone said that ‘Mudra Bank Yojna’ is an wise initiative taken by PM Narendra Modi to financially empower the poor people regardless of children, adolescent and grown-ups in family. “As Tripura is suffering due to CPI-M Govt.’s failure to make the state economically stable, so this scheme will be very much helpful to upgrade the financial condition of the poor people in state”. However Dasgupta further added, this scheme is basically for needy and poor people and this will be provided to young people with an aim to become independent. BJP President Sudhindra Dasgupta on Tuesday announced that BJP State Unit’s Tapas Majumder will work as the main co-ordinator of scheme. He also said, “Within next 7 days in all Districts people will be taken under the scheme so that the poor people can become independent”.

The 3 major subjects which had been discussed are:

1.     Mudra Bank Yojna: How to benefit poor people of Tripura with this plan,

2.     Increasing violence in state Tripura by CPI-M cadres day by day,

3.     Growth of BJP in NE state Tripura.

During a press meet at BJP  office, Union Minister said that Mudra Bank will be beneficial for the mid-stage finance seeker to grown ups.

Mudra Bank has 3 loan instruments:

1.     Shishu (infant): will be provided with Rs. 50,000/- of loan,

2.     Kishore(adolecent): will be given from 50,000 to 5 lakhs

3.     Tarun: Rs. 5 lakh and upto Rs. 10 lakhs.

PM Modiji’s ‘Mudra Bank’ concept is a way to become  self-sufficient”, said Dasgupta.

In this regard from September 25 to September 30 workshops will be held at various part of the state, he added.

However at Tripura this will be taken care under UBI bank, and bank has been asked to make the proess simple and easy so that the poor people can be self-dependent.

Mafia-raj at sate: Dasgupta also mentioned while talking to TIWN that in last  1 year (2014-15) in various times at various places BJP members have been beaten by CPI-M cadres. At least 300 people victimized during the last year by ruling party members. This matter has been raised by BJP state president Sudhindra Dasgupta to Union Minister Harsh Vardan on Tuesday.

BJP told the Minister about the mafia-raj of CPI-M, which prevails in the state where CPI-M cadres are ownselves responsible for it.

Party-talk: H Vardhan also appreciated Tripura BJP leaders for making the party strong. However, in comparison with other states, Tripura still needs to progress much so that in the upcoming election BJP may be in lead position, said Dasgupta.
