AGARTALA, September 22 (TIWN): Despite of High Court’s order to stop the private tuition, the saga of taking private tuition still continues in the state.

Even after the State Government of Tripura has gladly welcomed the interim order of Tripura High Court where it has been mentioned that the state government had already alerted the school teachers, students and the guardians to restrict the practice of private tuition, it has been seen that the private tuition is still on practice at a large in the state by some money hungry teachers.

However, it is worthy to mention here that despite having a ban on private tuition by the government-school teachers, the tendency has taken a toll with no departmental action against the teachers who are violating the order of Tripura High Court.

It is to be mentioned here that despite to ban on the practice of private tuition by the school teachers, there are some teachers who are illicitly taking tuition in their home from evening.

Reportedly, there are some money hungry teachers who continue the illicit business of taking private tuitions in rented houses so that nobody can get the chance of knowing that they are taking private tuitions in their home.

It is to be mention here that some of the teachers also take tuitions saying that they are taking tuitions of 9th standard students though they are teaching the students of 8th standard.

The private tuition in the state has been banned after the court observed the education in both government and non-government schools has been suffering because of private tuition by the teachers. Therefore, to stop this menace of unruly teachers, cunning manipulation of education system by private tuitions, it’s high time Govt. arrests and dismisses corrupt, cash-hungry teachers from service.

Although the court has order to put a ban to the practice of Private tuition but still the practice is going on in a large scale in the state and the ruling government is silent over the issue.

Locals alleged that the ruling government is silent over the issue only because either of the children of the Ministers or the local leaders are undergoing private tuition with the Government teachers under different school.
