Agartala, Sep 20 (TIWN):Union Minister for Science and Technology & Earth Sciences, Dr. Harsha Vardhan is scheduled to arrive , at the state on September 20 ( Sunday). During his stay, on September 21 he will be inaugurating the state level biotech hub and bi – informatics centre at Tripura University.

On 22nd September the Union Minister will inaugurate a series of facilities created so far with the fund supporting from the Dept of Biotechnolgy, like the Wet – Lab and Intensive Experimental Farm Facilities under “ Centre of Excellence on Fisheries and Aquaculture Biotechnolgy” at the college of fisheries. Central Agriculture University, Lembucherra.

He will also inaugurate the exhibition pavilion showcasing the activities under various DBT and DST funded projects of the Centre and release various  new publication of the college fisheries. A farmer – student – scientist interaction will be organized on this occasion which will be presided over by Prof M. Premjit Singh, Vice – Chancellor, Central University, Imphal.
