AGARTALA, September 18 (TIWN): Three-day long North Tripura District level science fair and seminar is scheduled to be organized at Bir Bikram Institute on September 29.

The programme will be organized with the joint initiatives of the Tripura State Science and Technique Board, District Science Forum and District Education Office.

The science fair will be organized with a theme ‘the overall development of science and mathematics’. Besides, the theme of the seminar will be ‘practical application of light energy’.

However, it has been mentioned that the programme is expected to continue till October 1.

During a meeting which has been organized to discuss about the schedule of the three-day long programme, aiming to conclude the programme successfully Sabadhipati of the District Council Pratima Das has been made the Chairperson and the Headmaster of the BBI Sekhar Das was made the Convenor of the programme.

Besides, twelve sub-committees were also formed.

During the meeting it has been decided that atleast one model from every Senior Basic School. Besides, two model from each of the Madhyamik School.

Atleast three models should be submitted from the Higher Secondary School.

However, it has been informed that the schools which are interested to participate at the fair should submit their name at the Bir Bikram Institute by September 23.
