AGARTALA, September 17 (TIWN): Finally after a long wait and series of soil test for the construction of Fly over is completed in full swing.
With the ongoing days, the construction of the fly-over work is underway in full swing from Battala to Drop gate area with an aim to complete the entire work by 30 months as fixed by the Tripura government.
However, the soil testing work has been completed at the Fire brigade Choumuhani and Melarmath as well.
Meanwhile the engineers are actively engaged in making the structures of the pillars over which the two lane flyover road would be erected.
Despite of the bad weather in the city, the engineers of the Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCC) are actively engaged on the entire project work in full swing aiming to complete the work as soon as possible.
However, the main construction work of the flyover is in progress at the centre point at Battala which would link the flyover from Drop Gate to Fire brigade Choumuhani and slopped down at Melarnath.
Once the construction work is completed, the two lane road beneath the flyover is expected to come up to facilitate the vehicles coming from South and enters the Nagerjala bus stand.
It is expected that with the enforcement of the fly over the daily traffic jam will also be curbed
However, the flyover was a long term demand of the city dwellers and it needs to be introduced soon to curb the heavy traffic congestion which is increasing day by day in the capital.
Despite of bad weather the entrusted engineers of the Nagarjuna Construction Company are actively engaged with the construction work of first ever 2 lane flyover road at Tripura which would link Drop Gate with Fire brigade Chowmuhni via Battala.
