AGRATALA Sept 15 (TWIN): 6 new bus routes between India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan has been cofirmed.The Bangladesh transport minister Mr Qbaidul Quader has told on Monday that new bus route will be opened within this countries has been confirmed .
There will be meeting this year in which representatives of all the 4 countries will meet and discuss on the matter. In 2015 saarc summit in Kathmandu there is agreement presented on transportation by the four countries which is known as “saarc motor vehicle agreement “.There will be a BBIN (Bangladesh, Bhutan, India and Nepal) rally on this matter.
Kolkata to Agartala via Dhaka, Chittagong to Shilliguri via Rangpur, Bogra to Thimpu (Bhutan) via Jaigaon, Dhaka to Kathmandu via Phulbari (India), Dhaka –Shyllet-Tamabil-Shillong-Samudra jhanka (Bhutan),Khulna-Jesshore-Kolkata
This are the possible routes which will be opened said the Bangladesh transport minister Mr Qbaidul Quader. A new Volvo bus will arrive at TRTC for bus route. This bus route has been plagued by problems during the recent years. It was started on 2003 but was put on hold due to security of the passengers as the bus has been attacked many times by Bangladeshi citizens. Recently there has been a meeting on how to revive the bus service. The fare has been fixed at Rs 1500 from Kolkata to Agartala and vice versa.Both the countries will run one bus each from their countries for this service.
