AGARTALA, Sept 13 (TIWN): Former Indian Cricket team captain Sourav Ganguli arrived here at Tripura On Sunday.

Sourav Ganguli arrived at Agartala at 2.30 pm and Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) welcomed him from Agartala airport.

He has come to attend annual prize distribution programme organized by TCA.

The main programme has held at Rabindra Bhawan at 6 pm, in the presence of CM Manik Sarkar and Minister of sports Shahid Chaudhury.

During the speech Sourav Ganguli said that, “I have future plans for state Tripura’s cricket team and I have also planned to give coaching to Tripura’s junior cricket players.

Following his speech CM said that it’s really a matter of glory that cricket starts as Sourav Ganguli is taking initiatives for Tripura sport team. He also added, with Sourav’s arrival Tripura’s cricket team’s bright future can be observed.
