AGARTALA, September 13 (TIWN): Demanding to take strict action against alleged accused Mohammad Aziz Mia, Wife of the deceased Santana Begam on Saturday placed an application to the OC of Battala saying that the accused Aziz Mia is responsible for the death of her husband deceased Benu Mia.

According to her statement in the application, she has mentioned that the incident took place on August 21, 2015.

Detailing about the incident it has been mentioned that on Friday that is on August 21, 2015 the incident took place at around 11:30 pm at night when deceased Benu Mia and the family members were discussing on some family issue.

During the family discussion, suddenly alleged accused Mohammad Aziz Mia thronged in to the room and punched deceased Benu Mia. Accused Aziz Mia was drunk at that time.

She further said that with that one punch deceased he collapsed on the ground. Hearing the hue and cry the locals came and took Benu Mia at the GB Hospital.

The doctors declared dead after they did the preliminary check up.

Benu Mia was a resident of Rajnagar, AMC Ward No. 10.

Therefore, the family of deceased Benu Mia demanded for rigorous punishment for the accused Mohammad Aziz Mia, as it has been 27 days but the police is taking no action said
