Tripura State Committee of All India Youth League demands for Rail Recruitment Board

AGARTALA, September 12 (TIWN): Tripura State Committee of All India Youth League on Saturday staged a mass demonstration at Post Office Choumuhani demanding to provide 35 kg of rice costing Rs. 2 per kg to the families listed on the priority list under the Food Security Law.

In this case, the Central Government has to provide allotment.

They also demanded to register the name of the poor APL families on the list prepared to provide rice under Food Security Law.

Besides, they said that to prevent the growth of soaring prices of the commodities and to make about 14 essential goods available across the country at the government fair price in all the shops, immediately.

All the vacancies in the Central and State Departments should be fulfilled soon. Initiatives should be taken to provide 33 percent of seats to women at the Parliament and State Vidhan Sabha.

Besides, they also demanded to take strict steps to stop violence against women and to increase the allotment for the education from the Central Government.

The Birthday of the Nejai Subhash Chandra should be declared as Desh Prem Diwas and all the secret documents of Netaji and INA should be revealed in front of the public.

They further demanded that a rail recruitment board should be established at the Tripura and stop corruption in the recruitment of the rail workers.
