Govt.’s negligence turns ITI in Tripura into a cattle rearing ground
TIWN

AGARTALA, September 12 (TIWN): The Industrial Training Institute (ITI) at Jatanbari has turned into a cattle farm due to the lack of renovation since its inauguration. The entire building has been covered with ambushes from the four sides giving nil scope to any outsiders to identify it as an educational institute. There are a total of 120 students studying in 11 different streams. A total of 13 teachers are running all the streams.

Locals claimed that the negligence role of the government and the concerned administration has lead the institute turn into a cattle rearing field. They also claimed yet despite it is a training institute which is running with only 13 faculties the government has so far not taken any initiatives recruiting teachers for the deprived students in the institutions.

“There is lack of educational infrastructure in the institute. Though the students tried time and again to place their demands before the concerned administration, they never paid any heed to them,” locals claimed

Besides, in view of lack of teachers the guardians claimed that most of the students complained that they never get a chance to discuss their academic problems in the classroom as a section of teachers went out of the classroom immediately giving class work to the students.

“We never get a chance to discuss any syllabus related problems with the teachers, especially some of the female teachers,” claims a section of students.

However, this has brought another major threat to the future of the students of the institutions and thereby the government’s negligence role has brought down the education system in industrial sector.
