AGARTALA, September 12 (TIWN): Opposition once again raised voice against state govt. and submitted a memorandum regarding the deteriorating law and order condition in state.
Cong MLA Dilip Sarkar and Councilor Jayanta Chowdhury on behalf of the public of Southern Part of Agartala City placed 7 charter of demands to SP, West Tripura.
Their 7 demands include Strict vigil by the police Mobile vehicle to stop incidents of snatching and eve teasing along the roads.
Cong. further demanded strict police action against illegal gathering of anti-social elements in AD Nagar and Amtali area, as these places after evening become quite unsafe for people to move around at night.
They also complained against the sale of illegal sale of liquor, tablets, Phensedyl, Cough Syrup, Corex cough Syrup, Ganjas etc.
Cong. also demanded for the status of the theft in A. D. Nagar Class 12 school that occurred last month.
Proper preventive steps against cattle theft are also brought into demand.
Moreover, police was asked for murder cases’ proper investigation; along with maintaining the law and order situations in that area.
