Kidnapped persons remains untraceable even after 13 days

AGARTALA, September 12 (TIWN): Kumar para under Ganganagar police station of Gandacherra. They were kidnapped reportedly by NLFT militant thirteen days back. The police and civil administration for their recovery conducted search operation for 2/3 days. Now, all kind of initiatives have been stopped by the administration for their release. Serious discontentment is brewing among the people due to lackluster approach of the administration.The economic condition of the kidnapped family members is very poor. They cannot get them released from the kidnappers. The only hope for them is local administration should take up the issue with Bangladesh administration for release of the two kidnapped person.Meanwhile,the District Magistrate of Dhalai have discussed the issue with BSF. Accordingly, the matter was taken to the notice of security agency of Bangladesh.

A group of seven ultras armed with automatic weapons initially kidnapped three tribals -- identified as Shantijoy Tripura, Manojoy  Tripura and Dhanojoy Tripura -- and later freed Dhanojjoy with a ransom notice for release of the two captives. 

It is mentionable here  that  with NLFT which concluded two rounds of tripartite talks with the state and Central governments in Delhi and Shillong in the last six months and nothing fruitful has come out so far. NLFT has proposed for ceasefire, but the state government made it clear there will be no ceasefire and the security forces will continue to provide security to the citizens.
