Longtarai, September 11 (TIWN): A housewife has been killed brutally by her laws as she was failed to produce any child after 7 years of marriage. The victim has been identified as Laxmi Shil. At the time of her death she was only 21.

After killing her by strangling , the dead body had been given fire to make a story of suicide. But the neighbours understanding the matter informed the police on last night and demanded for proper investigation.

Before 7 years  Laxmi Shil had been married to Sajal Shil, resident of Ghototkoch Para, under Manu P. S. But after 7 years of her maarige Laxmi was failed to rear any child. As a result they started several mental and physical tortures upon her.

Moreover, several time she was forced to leave her law’s house so that Sajal Shil can marry another woman. But being a daughter of a poor family Laxmi did not leave her law’s house. Then it was on Wednedsay that the incident took place and without any investigation police declared it as a suicide case.

However, it was the neighbour who laterly lodged complaint against Sajal Shil and his parents, for this vile act. However, police is further investigating the case.
